It appears that your seller did not understand you problem. On single bulb headlamps like the Liberty's you need at least a Hi/Lo bulb. There are basically 3 bulb types in HID lighting. The single bulb that is Lo beam only would fit a vehicle that has a seperate bulb for the Hi beam. The Xenon/Halogen bulb that would be suitable for the Liberty with the Xenon Lo power coming through a ballast and the Halogen Hi power coming from your regular headlamp wiring. The Bi Xenon bulb get power from a ballast and is Xenon on HI and Lo with a shutter device built into the bulb that alters the Hi/Lo angle. If you had no problem with the Lo beams working then you only need a different bulb that has the Hi beam. You probably do not have Can-bus on the '06.You may need a relay harness.Hope this helps,I am trying to resolve a problem on an '09 Liberty.A different eBay seller sent me the Hi/Lo kit, then the relay harness and now I'm waiting for a Capacitor kit all to solve a flickering problem.Good Luck

The 9007 bulbs that are used in the liberty have two filaments producing light.. HID's work differently, so you will not have a high beam, usually the bulbs are bright enough anyway.. but you lose the 'flash to pass' feature.. If you wish to have a "high" beam, your best bet would be to get the HID kits with the halogen bulb, so you can pass inspection. they don't really produce any light. The kits that actually move the bulb back and forth are a pain to install (you have to hook them up to a power source and run extra wires, not too hard, just annoying.
check these out, they are for 9004(which is similar to our 9007 bulbs, but do not work for us, you would have to get the 9007) Read that page, tells you about the bulb, and shows pictures.. I hope I didn't confuse you even more, lol. -Dean |

Probably not.Thats a good question because although the halogen buld is for Hi beam only a not used as much as the Xenon low, when it burns out the whole bulb assy.would need to be replaced.

You most definitely can buy just the bulb.. the HID "kits" are made up of a 'ballast' (which converts the power source, into a different output than the stock bulb, since HID's use Xenon gas, and not Filaments in traditional bulbs) and a bulb which usually attaches to the ballast with two wires. If you just recently bought the kit, I would just try to return it and get the correct kit. Unless your bulb burnt out, then I thnk you can just replace the bulb. would be cheaper anyway.

So, are you saying that you cannot get a single HID bulb that will do BOTH low-beam and high-beam? It sounds like you are saying that you can only have high-beams with halogen bulbs, not HID bulbs. Am I understanding this correctly? |

The BiXenon is HID Xenon hi and Lo.The HID hi/lo is Xenon lo and Halogen hi.

Since I bought a Bi-Xenon HID Conversion Kit I should have Xenon hi and lo. I did a basic HID hook-up: swapped the halogen bulbs out with the HID bulbs, connected the ballasts to the HIDs, etc. Is there some "special" way I need to install this kit to make the hi-beams work?

Are you sure you have Bi-Xenon bulbs? Beside the ballasts and bulbs you should also have a controller that gets wired to the original headlamp connector and controls the hi/lo movement of the Bi-Xenon bulb.On your original post you had a link to the seller, the photo shows a Bi-Xenon bulb in the middle of 2 regular single beam Xenon bulbs. There is also a wiring diagram that shows a picture of a Hi/Lo controller. If you got everything you paid for there is no reason it should not work. You should contact the seller.Good luck.
