Front Tow Hooks
Hey there,
I'm looking for front tow hooks for my '04 Liberty. The OEM hooks are open at the top, which doesn't help with my situation. I like to canoe a lot and the Liberty is great for strapping a canoe on top. Unfortunately, I can't seem to locate anything to strap the canoe to on the front of the Jeep. If the hooks were reversed, or even closed (I know, it wouldn't be a hook), then my situation would be solved. Does anyone know who sells these, that mount to the frame using the factory drilled/threaded holes? I'm trying to prevent the straps from rubbing the paint off my Jeep. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

You can still use the tow hooks. Simply tie or wrap around the bottom of hook, then guarantee a hold by using a steel round hose clamp to ensure from sliding upwards.
