Front End Clicking/Crackling 03 Liberty

For the past two days my 03 Liberty fwd has made a sporadic clicking or crackling sound from the front end. It only does it in park or when stopped at a stop light. (although perhaps I just can't hear it when driving because the engine drowns it out.) At first I thought it was coming from the belt or fan area but I can't pinpoint the sound. Sounds more like it is underneath the front end. It is not continuous, but will do it a few times, sound normal, then do it a few more times. Anyone have similar issues?

If sitting still with it idling then start with the idler pulley, maybe going bad, kind of has to be something engine wise if it doesn't do it moving
