Thanks everyone. I got the new one in today. I scratched the paint a lot more than I had expected.. but oh well.

Thinking about buying a Cobra® 29-LTD 2-Way 40-Channel CB Radio. Anyone have install/antenna suggestions?

Looks good. It's tough to get that thing out or in without scraping on something. Hopefully there won't be but if there is a next time wrap the shaft itself and then install and unwrap. I thought about doing that when I changed the Tcase end a few months ago.

Don't worry too much about the paint. It's not something that most people will ever see. I painted my drive shafts with a sloppy coat of Rustoleum and an old paint brush. Drums and other various exposed parts the same way.
