Engine Code P0441

My check engine light came on today. I checked the code and according to the code list it says "Evaporative purge flow system not working properly." What does that mean exactly?

This code means that at some point the gas cap was not put on properly, my wife has done this with a couple of vehicles, you should be able to reset the warning light and it will be fine. Just make sure you tighten the gas cap good and you shouldn't have anymore problems. Everytime I have had this code, it was always because she was driving with the cap loose on every vehicle.

the ldp switch isn't closing...it could be a gas cap or a leak large enough that the ldp cannot generate enough vaccum in the evap system or sometimes the internal switch in the ldp is bad or the evap purge solenoid is stuck and flowing when it should be blocking. I see these at work alot.
The only replacement for displacement is Positive Manifold Pressure.
