driveshaft shop

i called a reputable driveshaft shop, they do a lot of race car and offroad stuff. they do convert cv type shafts to u joint. i asked about a liberty shaft, either getting it converted, repaired or making a new one, the guy told me to do myself a favor and find a brand new oem one. he said he was doing them and the parts he has access to are crap, they wer eonly lasting a year and he is not going to do them if thats all they last.

just make sure the 'new' cv is a REMAN

the actual new, new ones, seem to be the wrong length

you'll be quite unhappy changing libby iFS cv's to ujoints

get with JE-Reel if you're looking for cut CV's or have that driveshaft shop do it based off what JE does, or just stick with the much, much, much, much, much, much cheaper Reman's

There are flanges on the market to put U joints on each end.
