Do many KJs have the access panel for the fuel pump?

Haynes refers to (and has photos of) the access panel for the fuel pump under the rear carpet. The 2005 FSM doesn't mention it at all, it just says that you have to drop the tank. I'm guessing that means my 2005 probably doesn't have the panel? You have to drill out and replace rivets to check.

I believe that up to 2004 this access panel was fitted....I am pretty sure your 2005 does not have it.
