Just had the Occupant Restraint Control module (M35 Recall) taken care of this morning. The dealership installed a wiring jumper (Part #CBXTM351AC).

Along with an oil change, I was in and out in under 2 hours.

I'm sure Jeep had to order a million hitches or something and waiting on parts. Don't hold your breath....LOL

I already have a hitch and skid so I'm not worrying about it.
I just read that the recall has been delayed. Does anyone have any more insights? I found it here.

If it ain't broke don't fix it.....Enjoy it.

IIRC, the skid plate was not sufficient to prevent gas tank failure in a rear end collision, so the hitch option was taken, and it has to be a factory hitch (probably because Jeep can't vouch for the robustness of aftermarket hitches).
My '06 has the factory hitch, so I haven't seen, or expect, a recall letter.
