CRD fans - cool (non-jeep) diesel video.

This is only Jeep Liberty related in this way:

Jeep makes the LIberty CRD which are diesels
This is an ad for a car company which also makes diesels

Thats it. If you don't care - please move along.

For us diesel heads who bought a CRD and are kind of interested in all things diesel - this is a really cool ad:

Audi R10 TDI

I remember the hubub when Volkswagen started using TDIs in the rally racing circuits. First people laughed. Then VW started winning. Then people complained it was cheating.



Looks like diesel power is starting to get accepted into circles other than big pickups and tractors.

that car will race on march 15 at sebring. it will be on the speed channel. I just might watch it.

Within the last few years, there was another diesel powered car at Le mans. If my memory is correct, it had a Cat or Cummins engine. Anyway, it was respectable and maybe it's strong suit was fuel mileage and it was pretty quick as well. I think diesel's are allowed more displacement or turbo boost too.
