Brake light issues.

Sorry if this is real easy, but here it goes. I can't figure it out. Brake light goes out when the lights are on and brakes are applied. 05 Liberty. Checked tailight assembely. I found a blown light and a burnt out socket. I replaced both with no avail. Any help.

Figured it out. Got out the ol' DVOM and started touching connectors. Everything was fine. Hmmm... Noticed one of the contacts where the socket contact touches was a bit recessed. Raised it up. Nothing. Scraped it for a better contact. Fixed
