Anyone know the part number for the tow hooks on an '02 sport?

I found a pair on eBay so cheap I couldn't pass it up. Ad said it will fit. I did some checking and some say this part number and others say a different number. The ones I ordered are part # 52059410ab. I hope they're going to fit, bolt right on. I don't want to modify anything.

I don't think those are technically 'tow hooks'. 'Recovery hooks' yes. Great for getting you or a friend unstuck.

I don't know. And I am not trying to be one of those internet jerks that pick apart what someone is saying kind of guys. Those hooks are made for recovery. You attach a recovery strap or winch line to them. You don't want to use them for towing.

I have factory recovery hooks on our 2002. You want me to take a picture for ya?

Lots of folks call them tow hooks
and they are advertised as Mopar OEM Jeep Liberty Tow Hooks fits KJ & KK models

So to the OP, yes they will work and you are calling them the right thing

Thanks. Recovery or tow hooks, I think it's the same thing. If you hook a strap to your buddy's truck and to the part on yours he's pulling you or towing you. Either way, if I can hook a strap to them and they'll fit, yippee for me. I got a great deal on oem tow/recovery/whatever thingamabobbers.

You know, that's a good point. I have used that type of hook to tow folks on the trail, sometimes even a few miles.
