Another new CRD owner - 30 mpg story

Hi everyone. I'm yet another new CRD owner. I recently bought an 05 Limited CRD under all the pricing incentives going on - it really made it too good to pass up.

At about 500 miles on the odometer, I took it from Denver into the South Park area of Colorado (yes, there really is a place called South Park). I took it up a few trails to break it in - I was amazed how much more poised it was than my old 99 Cherokee which finally went to a 2nd owner after over 200K miles. From the trails, I took it across a pass to Breckenridge, then up what feels like an almost vertical incline on I-70 to the Eisenhower Tunnel, then back to Denver. For the entire trip, the trip computer indicated exactly 30.0 mpg. I was blown away!

I think I'm really going to like putting 200K on this Jeep!
