Adding lift with BDS

So background info, I went the more unconventional route when I lifted (about 6,000 miles ago) and put the BDS 2" lift on my '05 KJ sport (3.7) because I thought it was the only "complete" kit. Now I have a few questions about lifting:

1) I'm sitting at 21.25 from the center of the wheel to the fender (so 2.25" lift?). How much lift could I get from a clevis lift/lift plate/Iso's? And what's the difference?

2) the mechanic who did the lift said I should stay away from a clevis and lift plate and all of that because the BDS kit is meant to work with its own parts and I could mess it up and make it impossible to align. Is that true and is it reversible if I did mess it up?

3) finally, if I did the clevis and all that, would it put me over the amount of lift you can have with stock UCA's?

Just to clarify, by "what's the difference" in my first question, I meant what's the difference between clevis lift, lift plate, and spring isolators.

3/8 inch clevis lift will give you 3/4 inch lift
1/4 inch top plate will give you 1/2 inch lift
combined you get 1.25 inches of lift
so you'd be at 22.50
You'll be right on the edge of getting the alignment right on at that height and stock arms
Clevis lift is when you raise the front shock up out of the clevis 3/8 of an inch
Top plate goes on top of the mounting plate between it and the body
Isolator is the rubber pieces that sit above and below the springs front and rear

Alright thanks for all the info.

And what will this cost me at a shop? I have no tools for this haha unless someone nearby thinks they could help instead... but probably not

Also where would I get all these parts?
And should I do new bumpstops at the same time?

And are you saying that I won't need new uca's? Will all this stuff overwork my ball joints up front? And if so, would new uca's help with that?

And just to check, will I need alignment after this? And I won't make my jeep un-alignable right?

top plates from jeepinbyal , for the clevis lift you need nothing really, just move the shock up 3/8 of an inch in the clevis and tighten it
and should i do new bumpstops at the same time?
Teraflex front bumpstops avaiable at jeepinbyal

New upper control arms from jba will make it easier to align the front

Yes you will need an alignment afterwards

Sorry, but I just wanted a little more clarification...

Which one of these am I supposed to be getting? (and what's the difference?)

And for bumpstops:
I need these for the front?

What am I supposed to do about iso's exactly in order to balance out?

And finally, by "at the edge of getting the alignment right", you mean that it could still be aligned and wouldn't burn through tires or CV joints at the front wheels right?

Don't need the clevis spacers if you don't want to buy them
spacer plate is fine
yes on the teraflex bumpstops for the front
rear like i've said you can use 2 per side hockey pucks work great
Try one per side on the iso's in the rear may have to add two per side to level it though

Some other random things...

The .375" clevis spacer would be the max I could go and that would be in place of a lift plate in the front right?

Since I have the BDS kit that only came with new rear shocks, do I need any other new shocks if I did the clevis and 2 iso's on each side or would I be good with stock in the front and the BDS in the rear?

You should always use new front shocks as well since the stock ones are more than likely worn out
You can do either a clevis lift or a top plate OR BOTH

And the BDS kit does not come with new front shocks? Maybe a little later I'll do shocks if I can get by without for a little bit. Would new shocks be mandatory if I did a 3/8 clevis and lift plate? And how many Iso's would I need in the rear

BDS does not come with front shocks
Problem using the old ones is they are already weak, using them with new springs will weaken them as well since they will be working more
If you haven't bought it yet just go with a full Ironman and be done

I already have the BDS on although I wish I would have done ironman now. But I'm mainly just looking at what size clevis spacer and lift plate. How will I know when I need new shocks?

Just to get a final work plan:
Front:
.375" clevis spaced from jeepinbyal
1/4" lift plate from jeepinbyal
Rear:
? How many rear iso's?

Is that it?
