247,000 miles on a 3.7l

Here is a link (from allpar 200,000 mile club) for a high mileage liberty used as a courier vehicle.
only things replaced are the ball joints and an o2 sensor . enjoy mike

http://www.allpar.com/old/club/searc...7l&type=engine

i guess the auto trans has lasted so long because it has spent most of its life on the highway with the torque convertor locked

Any pics of your Liberty? I'd like to see if the interior held up as well as the other one. Maybe a picture of your odometer?

Interior is in excellent condition as I am the only one in it. I put a seat cover on the drivers side right after I purchased it (Fall 2001). to save the drivers seat

Hey guys, I have 18,250,000 miles on my KJ. I have a 5000 mile commute one way to work. 10,000 miles a day. Yep, it's tough.

Not to be a jerk colorado, but I gotta see this odometer.

i know three people offhand that have a 90+ mile commute one way. you do that long enough and before you know it you got a couple hundred thousand on a 5 year old vehicle. thats why if you are in that situation, you never buy new. or you get short term lease and get your company to pay for the lease. mike

I really don't care what anyone believes. I live in colorado springs and work in longmont. Two hours commute each way. Leave at 6am back home at 6:30pm. I put 400,000 miles on my ford aerostar before I traded it in on the liberty. I only work 5 days a week, thats 1000 miles a week.
Actually a little more as the exact milage one way is 106 miles. I drive my wrangler on weekends and vacation.

Liberty in the shop for routine service at 320,000 miles. Transmission flush, rear axel and transfer case fluid change. Only problem dealer found was a leaking transducer on the transmisson. I told him to replace it. I don't know how much longer my luck will hold on this vehicle.
