By it being the new body style I think it will be hard to find any aftermarket cheaper ones that will fit.
I'd recommend you try some of the Jeep dealers who will sell their accessories with a minimal markup.
I looked at this before buying my 09 as the spouse liked a vehicle with roof rails and the vehicle I liked didn't have them. We compromised (we got what she wanted).... but anyway:
The side rails have a MSRP of $165, several online jeep OEM parts outlets discount them to like $140 or so. You can download the install instructions at the jeep web site, accessories to see what it takes to install them. I recall reading here somewhere that someone installed them and the hardest part was getting the glue off.
The cross bars, so called utility bars, list over $200 but are discounted to $165 or so at some shops. I've seen instructions, I think over on lost, to make bars with like $20 in parts, but you need a welder.
That was probably my post. It is on Forum, Not Lost. I STILL haven't gotten accepted as a member on lost. Been waiting a year and a decade (well, almost)
you can probably find what you want used on Ebay. just go to the Yakima site and go through the process of creating your roof rack so they can figure exactly what size parts you need
i am actually very interested in the rocky road ones. They match my push bar nicely (steelcraft) and i can mount emergency lights to the fog light bar.
Does anyone know if rocky road would modify the adventure rack to have just a front and back rail? i dont want the 2 extra cross rails... From the website i get the idea that they make all these to order and do not stock them.
I am debating between the factory style roof rails, or the rocky road rails with adventure rack.
After crossbars, they are the same price. I have the steelcraft grill guard right now in black so i think the rocky road rails would match nicely and probably are stronger then the factory style.
