2008 Liberty with Sky Slider wind noise!

Does anyone have any info on sunroof wind deflectors that will solve the horrible wind noise from the sky slider roof.

Or any other way to fix the problem.

They make KKs with full steel roofs for that reason

When i hit 40 there is a really loud whistling noise that comes from the front. When i go up to 60, i can forget about listening to the radio unless it is blasting

labzs, the big problem with trying to identify your noise is that noise is subjective.
"blasting" the radio to you may be barely turning it on to ThunderbirdJunkie, just like you may find ThunderbirdJunkie's tire noise offensive, but he thinks his tires are very quiet.

Can you give us a litmus test? Is the roof noisier or quieter than road noise '01-06 Sebring convertible?

If it is noisy, take it to dealership, Especially if it is still under warranty. I know of several that had the noise reduced severely at the dealership.

as I stated before the noise from my 09 Liberty Sky Slider is less than that of our 03 Sebring Convertible. Sometimes, when closing, it doesnt seat itself properly, resulting in noise like you describe, so I reopen and close it again and it seats tight. This is a rare occasion, though. The dealer can look at it, they have ways to improve it.

After much research I found a TSB that describes the repair that Jeep sent out to all dealerships in 2008. TSB 23-013-08. The only problem is this is not covered under any warrenty, original bumper to bumper or the powertrain, nor any of the after market warrenties as well.
