2005 Jeep Liberty Window Tint?
Hey guys. This is kind of a newbie question. I've owned my Jeep since '06, and done some mods to it over the years. Now I want to tint my front two windows so that they match the back two that have the stock tint on them. So my two questions are:
1) What percent tint do I need to get for my front windows to match the stock tint that came on my rear windows and trunk? 2) If I get a darker tint for all 4 windows, will the pre-existing stock tint make the dark look darker than the front that has no tint? Also, any helpful comments on what kind of tint to buy, where to get it installed, etc. would be great. Thanks!

Tinting the front windows dark in many states may not be legal.
The auto trim shops that do the "Limo" tints will try to match up the darkness as best as possible. The factory tint is quite dark and may require two layers be applied. Best to consult a pro they will help you. |

1. You will have to check with a few tint shops to see what percentage the tint is on the back factory windows - if you want to have a good chance to match it up.
2. Yes it will.

The absolute max i would go is like 5%, after that you have to roll you windows down to back up, even in the pouring rain.

Okay, thanks. Now, does anyone know if tinting the front windows is legal is PA? I'm almost sure it is, cause i see a lot of people driving around with their tinted. If so, what is the darkest i can go? Also, what should I be expecting to pay for a pro to match the front windows with the rear?

Your back windows are probably 20% tint.... putting tint over tint will make it a whole lot darker...
