2003 Renegade starting and idling problems
OK someone please help me. I have to give my Jeep gas to get it to start, but it will turn over so I don't think it is the battery. It does this whether it is hot or cold. I have tried to CAM sensor, crankshaft, IAC, and spark plugs. I am beginning to think it may have something to do with the fuel pump, but I am unsure...

Have you checked the asd relay? Check that then see what it does. If that goes bad you can turn it over all you want but it will not start.

No I haven't. If I keep having problems then I will check that next. My battery was shot, so we switched that but not really thinking that would help the issue since it was turning over. Since we replaced the battery it has been starting right up.. no idling problems. It has only been two days so maybe it is tricking me, but why would the battery affect that?

Batteries can cause all sorts of weird problems if they are going bad. In older Fords you could turn one over but not fire if cranking voltage was below 10.2v as thats what the ECU needed to work. Yours was probably on the line of 9.6v or so while cranking cause the ECU to not work properly. Also the running rough was probably because the alternator could not keep up with all of the demands so everything was getting less voltage i.e. spark plugs, injectors ect. I would definitely check your alternator out as a slow battery death as that was it could have been cause by a failing alternator. Whenever you have a problem from now on with a vehicle of not starting even if it turns over ALWAYS check the battery first. Its the simple things that will cause you to waste money. GL with it.
