2002 liberty

I'm looking at buying a 2002 liberty limited (52,000 mi) and have a question about the slight shimmy. It shimmies slightly when you accelerate and turn either right or left. I don't notice it when accelerating straight. Could this be due to a "trac-lok" rear axle (positraction)? I'm not sure if this vehicle is equiped with the "trac-lok" system. Is there an easy way to tell? thanks for any help.

Shimmy

There should be no shimmy under any circumstances. The rear axle has a paper band around the left end behind the wheel identifying either open or locked axle, very easy to see, if it is still in place.

Doesn't posi-traction (limited slip diff) come standard on Limited? I know it is optional on Sport models.
