2005 TJ Wrangler

05' TJ Hitch on '08 Liberty
I have a 2005 Wrangler and replaced the original 1 1/4" hitch with a 2". My friend just got a new 2008 Liberty that does not have a hitch. Would my old hitch beable to fit his Liberty?

No, they're not interchangable. I have both vehicles with hitches. The new Liberty has the spare under the rear cargo area. The hitch on it has to curve around the spare tire. The Wrangler hitch is perfectly straight.

too bad your not closer, I'm about to let one go for cheap, but its a 2". I bought an aftermarket (hidden hitch, I think) hitch for my '08 liberty and pulled it off.
