04 Liberty Radio Wont Eject

So we just to the Lib. into the dealership to get an oil change 27point inspection etc. The following day for the first time since we bought it in Feb 05' the radio would not eject the cd. I got the CD out and tested it with another one and it worked fine. Well, it happened again today. I called the dealershipup to make an appt for it, but has this been a problem for anyone else? Is it covered under Jeeps 7yr / 70k? Thanks for the help. On a secondary note, the Jeep has 34k on it, what kind of life do the original tires have on these things?

It has been an authentic cd both times. That is the wierd part. When we droped off the jeep, the radio was playing the cd that was in there. Then when we picked it up, it was on a station that we dont ever listen too. Now, the cd wont eject, and ironically, we get a follow up call on the service which has never happened while we owned the jeep.

My 03 did that. The dealership gave me grief about copied cd's. I let them know it was an original. Eventually they came around, pulled the player, installed a new one and later got the original cd back to me. When the second player did it, the warranty was expired and I just replaced it with an Alpine. It's doubtful that they'll cover it since you're at 34k but you never know.

Life of original tires depend on how you drive, what you drive over and how often you rotate. Some models like my Freedom came with different tires, but I know the normal stock tires can suck on anything but dry roads.

You stole my name!!! Jk..

That will not be covered under the 7yr/70k since thats a powertrain warranty.

cd won't eject.

I had that problem on my 2003 Liberty. I just shut the vehicle off, let it sit all day, and came out to restart the vehicle, and it ejected. I threw the cd out, and haven't had the problem ever since. If a CD does that, never use it in that player again. Oh, by the way, I don't use anything but copied cds....HAHAHA.....
