02 libby renny broken :-(

Just baught a beautifull 02 liberty renegade and just after the first week of driving it...kaplooie! 2 broken intake retainer springs and 2 dead cylinders to go with it! I was told that it is likely that the piston head may have struck a valve and now I may need a complete rebuild :-(. Here's the kicker! I got all the paper to prove the motor had been replaced 3 years prior with a jasper remaned long block. Engine is said to have less than 27,000 mi on it . Paperwork milage documented backs this up. Any suggestions?? Thank you in advance and I apologize for the long explanation.

The first pic. Sping on left bran new from mopar. Spring on right broken. This is how it looked as my friend pulled it out (the mad scientist). Wow! Bustoid!
There were 2 broken springs but I threw one really hard out into nothingness and its now gone forever. Pic 2: both of the self adjusting valve things. (sorry not sure what they called it. I suck). Both were Seized up but one got chucked on the ground and sprung apart. Whatever Lol. Pic 3 & 4. U can get the idea.

Basically not sure if motor worth putting time into or just get another one. Have not actually taken heads off yet. We were able to get old broken stuff out without a complete teardown, but as far as getting new ones in with cams in the way...not happening! Should I roll the dice on this motor or what??
Thanks
