Went 245/75 on the tires on a full ome hd upgrade. Needed the larger diameter tires for our potholed tar roads. I know this might sound strange, but Southern Africa is generally dry, and when it does rain narrower tires work better in our mud since you need something that cuts through the mud to the solid stuff below. Narrower high profile tires also provide more of the footprint I need when deflated. A third reason is better fuel economy (fuel here is a little more expensive than in the US).
