Name that part!?!?

Can someone tell me what this part is? It is the gray one with the two bolts in top. I have been noticing a tick from under the good and think this is the problem. It is loud at times. It comes and goes. How hard is it to chance if needed?

I had a 2001 jeep and sold it but had to get another on. I misses it. It is a 2003 GC 158000 miles in the 4.0.

Thanks for the help fellow jeepers.

I'm not 100% sure as I am not a mechanic but I think it's a cam sensor

Thank you. You are correct I posted it in another forum and that's what everyone has said. That's where I think my ticking is coming from. One person said after it is changed it needs to go the the dealership to have them reprogram the computer. Talked with a few other people who said that is not the case. Any ideas?
