Expensive repairs this year. Jeep is 2003, Grand Cherokee Laredo.
4.0 Liter straight 6 cy. Automatic w/overdrive.
March 2013, after many sleepless nights, it was/is again, distributor
Shaft, p/u solenoid. & cam sensor. Cracked injector wiring from everyday engine temps.
I just researched this. Very common, poor design, very disappointed. Only
104 k miles on it. Sept. 2012 R&R transmission, at 92k miles. 3 different
Internal, transmission sensors/solenoids. Went out w/in a 2 week span.
2013, NOW, November. Transmission out again. Front pump assy, right inside the Bell Housing,
Is "Peeing, the fluild just added. Out again, faster than it went in.
Last year tranny job, $2200. I'm so done. Any one want a Jeep, will trade for a running Grandpa, car. Medium, to large,
full size, older 1994 and newer. Buick, Oldsmobile, Crown Victoria, Lincoln Mark IV, or newer.
