I just put a glasspack on my straight six and I love it. It's not obnoxiously loud but has a intimidating growl to it. Sounds really nice when your revving it for effect. I replaced my cat tho because it my daily driver and the law has spoken. i got oem for less then half price so just threw that on.

Do what I did.. Chop the cat off run a pipe to a thrush welded muffler and reconnect it to the old tailpipe. It was a cheap quick fix but wen I scrapped my converter they gave me 40 bucks I walked away with only spending 15 buck on the exhaust job. Thrush sounds great an it's very affordable

I left my cat on and put a melatone exhaust. Knock off of flowmaster but it sounds great. Loud but not obnoxious.
