I have a 1994 jeep grand cherokee Laredo with 181k miles and I love it. I have aftermarket shocks, all terrain tires, 2 in spacers, and a 3 inch lift. It hasn't given me much problems. My oil canister was leaking, but that was an easy fix. That was probably the biggest problem I had. As long as you know the previous owner(s) took care of it and you take care of it you Should be fine.
