97 zj stalling in reverse and drive

I'm very upset to find that my jeep will stall in reverse and drive, also when it stalls the gas needle won't read until I restart it 2-3 times. Please let this be an easy fix.

Seeing if the o2 sensors wasn't working, adding water to the radiator, putting transmission fluid in it, it has a rebuilt motor and didn't start acting up until 2 days ago.

Everyone's telling me it has to be a sensor. Maybe the crank sensor?
