The rack on mine is a stock chrome rack off of an '89. I got the door handles, bumpers and tha rain gutters off it too.

At this point, all I had done was taken off the rubber w/ the red pinstripe, and painted the grill. Now I've got the chrome grill too.

Dude, it holds up much better than expected. I'm about 145lbs and I can stand on it, even the side rails will hold me. And it is very light. Much lighter than I expected. I would say it's about 20lbs give or take a few.

3/4" most bungie cords are able to fit around that size tubing, so it makes it incredibly easy to strap anything down. Total cost was around $40. I don't have blueprints/sketches though as most of it was on the fly. I think I gave pretty good detail on the thread of how I made it. Post on there if you have any questions.
