That's about what my '95 looked like, before I cleaned it up. Being it's an '87, there's a chance it has a D44 rear axle. You should take a pic of the rear dif.

What I did with my axles is hit 'em with a wire brush, wipe down, and spray with rust cure that turns into black primer. Makes 'em look like new.

The guy told me there off of a cherokee but im suspicious i think there off a grand hope theyll work if not than im sol i dont got the money for the adapters and my xj is sittin on 4flats

Don't worry, if you like them, they can eventually be your second set of tires for the off season. I ran a set of Exploder rims om mine for almost 2 years. The tuck actually allowed me to run 31's with no lift that whole time. I just got JKS dog-leg shackles for a 1" lift in the rear so I wouldn't drag on 'em when I had passengers in the back seat

My concern is the bolt patern this is the 2nd set iv bought for my 87 xj the 1st set was a set of 16s off a 09 wrangler and the bolt patern didnt line up and im think ill have the same prob with these ill prob sell em $100

Measure from bolt center #1 to #3. 4.5" is what you want. 5" is what you'll find if they're wrong.
