Jeep Information

I have a 2001 xj and I broke the front axle. I replaced the axle with an older one that has high pinion and mine has low. I'm still using the old drive shaft witch is an inch longer. I'm putting on a 3.5 lift on also. I want to know if I need to go and get the shorter drive shaft or if this one Is going to be ok to use.
