My 99 Cherokee Sport has intermittent gauge problems. When the airbag light is illuminated all gauges do not work. Funny thing is I found when I use the rear wiper the gauges will work for a short period. There are days when the airbag light is not and gauges work. 95% of the time airbag light is on and gauges DO NOT work. Such a pain. Can the airbag be unplugged and fix the problem??

It's not the airbag that's the problem, it's the plugs in the back of the gauge cluster coming loose
