Actulally this is my neices jeep, I am just the mechanical uncle. I got roped in to working on this as her father has passed away. She bought this as her first car. Well the p.o. Really beat the snot out of it. I think she was blind when she bought it.
So I get a call 2 months after she bought it telling me her jeep isn't acting right, something with the trans. I had her take it to my friend and local mechanic. He went over it said it had torque converter code, needed brake lines ,water pump, trans lines and the engine wasn't reading sync.
So after many days under this thing I found most of its issues and repaired them. I got an auto trans from a "1994" Cherokee. ( the trans line fitting was broke off and JBwelded back together. And leaked bad) Now it doesn't seem to work with the computer. I get a output shaft speed sensor code, replaced it and code still comes up.
Oh, and also has a bent "c " on the right front axle. What a gem!
