Xenon Flat flares?
Should I paint my Xenon flat flares I just installed. They are a flexible urethane material. They are shipped bare, I wondered if sun/elements will damage them over time If I leave then unfinished?

i thought about painting mine...but i have a 2000 sahara and the stock flares come painted to match the body and they get soooo scratched up. i would say leave them and just get a good plastic polish. thats what i have done and the have been on my tj for little over a month now. they look awsome.
and snowrydr01 i am sure you could trim a bit but they are direct replacements. they have a lil lip on the inside that covers the bottom metal edge of the body. so if you are up for it i am sure it can be done. they also clean up the look of the jeep and really oens up the wheel well. i don;t have any strait on but i will post two pics before and after. i will try and get one straight on but the jeep is in storage as i am in the bush planting tree's in northern BC before ![]() ![]() after...sorry the pis isn't that great ![]() |
