Wheelin app for the iPhone/iPod - FREE

Hey, some people work on their trucks with tools. I try, but I'm better at writing software. Hence, Wheelin, is now available for FREE from the iTunes App Store.

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/wheel...3245?ls=1&mt=8

It would help me out if you downloaded and rated it highly. Then again, if you think it sucks, tell me, I'll try and fix it.

You should, in no way, take any of this personally. It's just business. So to recap, I come in peace, I mean you no harm, and you all will die. Gallaxhar out.

Oh sweet. Let me know how it works. I don't have an iPad to test it on. Thanks!

Works fine. I didn't take it out in the jeep to try it since I don't have a way to mount it, but just trying it here in the house it works pretty good. I might have to load this on my iPod touch and try to mount it for my next trip to Rausch. I especially like that the needles show the peaks.

Thanks. Mounting it can be hard... But it can be done...

Yeah, It is nice to know, after you check your underware, just how far over was I?

Hey, if you added your own truck, take a screenshot (press the home button and top button at the same time) showing the tilt screen and email it to me, paul at longpointlabs.com I'll get the best up on our web site!

Just got the app and I think I already drove my wife crazy by driving around to different places and finding out the angle. I love this app

Awesome! I had one from Ford Japan that worked well, but was all in japanese. Think a speedometer feature could be built into it as well? I know my speedometer does not work, and depend on my GPS for an accurate speed reading. Would be one less piece of electronic equipment around.
A+. love it. Will be reviewing and sharing! Thanks

Probably not. I built this as a portfolio piece then it became a testbed app for my still under development Ferret game. Now, Ferret will be Android so there is hope I'll want a testbed for that, but I've not decided yet.

Mmmmm.... I have a very long list of features I want to do but I don't know when I'll get the time to do it. But I'll add that to the list but don't hold your breath.

In the meantime, compute your speed based on the tach and tape a paper chart to the dash. Your tach becomes your speedometer then! I used to do this for TSD rallies to make a more precise speedometer.

I'll volunteer for Beta testing of most anything you have for the following;

iPod touch
iPad (original)
iMac (Lion OS)
Android Thunderbolt
Hopefully an iPhone 5 on Verizon next summer

PM me if you want Beta feedback.
