1st jeep is the one we presently have 04 wrangler. We had a 76" Bronco, and a 77' Scout. That Bronco would run circles around the Jeep. The Scout was a tank. 345-v8, tons of power.
Hey guy's, thats a neat looking airplane. What was it used for, Target spotting, etc,,, Just wondering..

My first heep was a 1983 CJ8 - I picked it up in the middle of December during a snow storm - the jeep had no doors and at the end of our 76mile adventure my hand was frozen in the shape of the shift knob!! Overall great jeep though - When I sold it I had 350k miles on the 258!! Still it was able to drive away

I bought a 1990 Jeep Cherokee in 2000 right before I got married because it was the only car we could afford. I sold it 2 years ago and when I see it around town I remember how much I loved that thing.

I had friends with Cherokees (my g/f has a 200 Cherokee sport right now) and friends with wranglers, but MY first jeep is my current 03 Wrangler X. LOVE IT. It took me 7 months to find, and I only 2 things I was looking for
1) had to be the 4.0 L engine 2) had to be a manual transmission. I will say that if I could do it over there would have been a few more things (D44s mainly...I could live without lockers, but it sucked to find out that I'm gonna have to upgrade my axles) and I would get an 06' Unlimited Rubicon (but didn't have the $ at the time)

Bought one about 2 months ago and I love it. Wanted one for a long time. It's a family thing, my brother had a 91 Laredo that was at over 170k and ran amazing that he sold and misses and my dad had a 99 I believe and had over 200k when he sold it. So Ive been into them for a long time and finally came around to buying one myself.
Mines a 2000 Cherokee with 91k on it and I bought it for $2800 and have put a ton into it with upgrading tires stereo u joints lights, bunch of little things too. But still I'll have a newer modded jeep, low miles and perfect for under $5k Really Crappy phone pic.. ![]() I hate that the pic doesnt come up...^^^^ |

My first Jeep, back in 2004, was a 1990 YJ. It had a 2.5L and 5 speed .. and ugly as sin whitewall tires. It had 119k miles IIRC and no 5th gear. I paid $1200 for it from a Craigs List post in Ridgefield, NJ. He was asking $3000.
Couple weeks after I bought it: ![]() Just before I sold it: ![]() I am now on my 3rd Wrangler, 5th Jeep: YJ, XJ, YJ, XJ, TJ.

My first Jeep was given to me in 1996. It was a 1988 XJ: Two door, manual tranny, 4.0L, 140,000 miles, stock. It was a hand-me-down from my older brother.
I drove it for 5 years, and then gave it to my other older brother when I got my Wrangler. Now I have another 1988 XJ (4 door, limited), which my dad gave to me because he was getting rid of it. It's been in the family since 1990.

1983 CJ7 with the t4 and the 258. I towed it 300 miles through western MD on a u haul dolly with a ragged out 94 chevy s10 blazer. I bought a welder and taught myself to weld. Then I left for Iraq.

when I was younger I always wanted to buy a jeep wrangler once I got to be 30 years old or so because I thought it would cost too much for me to afford but when I went looking for my first car I decided to dream by looking at the price of a wrangler TJ and found that I could afford one so then I waited for the cheapest one stock then I found this for the same price as a stock jeep at the time. it came with a 2" body lift and 33"x10.50"R15 BFG all terrains. know I have added about 2,000 dollars in aftermarket stuff and I will add my recent pictures soon due to the file size.

My mom bought a new Rubi Auto in 2005 for 27,900. with 70 miles on it. The Jeep that got me hooked on jeeps was my dads 83 CJ7, now its at my grandmoms house rusting away with a seized up engine, cracked frame, and 3 broken axle shafts. Im gonna rebuild it when I get a garage.

1971 Jeepster Commando. Transmission lines leaked, brakes were shot and the shocks were bottomed out. Every bump I hit left pieces in the road. Took it up an old logging road and across an abandoned railroad right of way and haven't looked back since.
