No wireless yet. I think I am going to leave it alone for a while. The cable still looks good. When that goes, I will give rope a try. I think the only other thing I am planning to get for my winch now is a cover.

i know this is an old post, but if anyone pays any attention to it, i need to re-clock the position of my free spool shift lever on my xd9000 warn winch. i just bought and installed an ARB bull bar on my yj and the shift lever is not facing directly upward.

Dan,
To do this you will want to stand the winch up on end so the housing is straight up in the air. Remove the 10 screws from the end housing then you can lift it up about a ¼" and rotate it every two holes to the desired position. Reinstall the screws and you are done. - Andy |
