Warn winch

Hello I have a buddy trying to trade me his 8000lbs warn winch he says" It's a warn 5000 spool with 8000 motor and gears to reduce winch size" is this good ? And what are they worth?

I think he is blowing smoke at you. That is a very small motor and it looks like 1/4 inch cable.

Good for an ATV or to remove a top but nothing else much.
