Tow hooks from tractor supply?

I looked yesterday and I could not find them. What do they look like so I can take them a picture of what i want. I asked them for a mountable to hook or chain hook and they could not find one. They said they had some that welded on, but I did not even look at them.

I appreciate the help because the tow hooks are temporary until I get my jeep ones in. Thanks.

They look like this:

And are rated at 10,000 lbs which is a lot more than the factory tow hooks. If I were you I would go with the Tractor Supply ones and cancel your Jeep ones. I replaced my factory ones with the ones from TSC.

Just go to where they have all the tie downs and ratchet straps at. Usually they're in a display box waste high. As pictures above, they have both black and chrome.

I bought my tow strap there just the other day and I looked all around that area. I'll go to a different one in another town and see if they have them. I already told the guy I would give him 25 bucks here on jf I guess I could see if he would sell me the rear tow hook only. I appreciate the pictures.

What size bolt do I need becasue I know a good wholesale bolt store close to me that I can get a decent price at. Thanks alot guys!

I've seen the hooks in auto parts stores too.

The bolts you need are 1/2 inch grade 8 bolts 3 inches long, If you're in Tractor Supply, you can get grade-8 hardware there for about $3 per pound. You need coarse threaded bolts, but I think all of Tractor Supply's grade-8 1/2 bolts that size are coarse threaded so whatever they have should work

Just wondering why you need coarse thread, do they thread right into something?

There are nuts welded onto the frame that the bolts go into.

That's what I figured, wasn't sure though, seems like fine thread would be better, but oh well, I need to pick up a set before I go out wheeling (spring probably)

Found 'em!

They were $7.26 a piece here at my Tractor Supply Store in Arkansas.

The item # on the reciept is 3018133
The item name is "tow hook keeper 1000"

I picked up 4 bolts 4 lock washers and 8 machine washers all Grade 8 hardware for about 5 bucks. Bolts are 1/2 by 3 inch and I got the washers in case the non threaded part gives me problems on the bolt. All I need now is a torx bit and them babies are going on! Thansk for the help
