Tint on Wranglers

does anyone know if its possible to tint the windows on a ragtop or do you need to buy the tinted windows for it. buying the tinted windows is pretty expensive and im all about price and would rather tint them on my own.
thanks

I tinted my full doors on my wrangler and was told that it is not possible to tint the ragtop windows and you do have to buy the replacement windows. Sorry.

Don't they have a spray tint? I think people use it to fog their turn signals/tail lamps.. It might be worth a shot if you will end up getting new windows anyways.

Don't try to tint your plastic windows, you're going to end up just ruining a good set of clear windows that you can save for trail use.

Buy the tinted windows from the dealership or www.jeepsareus.com, that is the only 'correct' way of doing it.

Hey man hobby shops have a tint spray for plastic rc bodies I was thinking of trying it. It worked on my tmaxx and I flip that thing all the time and the paint has never chipped or cracked. I'll let you know how it works.

If I was to try this I would go this route first just to ensure I didnt ruin them.

anyone find name of this material? Sounds like a good idea to start with. Even though summer is approaching and the tonneau will be going on the back, its nice to keep everyone from seeing what you have in the back seat while the top is up. They get a good look at your stuff and can THEN decide whether they want to rob you or not with the clear windows...
