LOL! Our production manager says the same thing (of course he drives a Cherokee, and if you've seen it, you know that he needs LOTS of Body Armor... though I am not sure that would help!)

Sorry for stealing your thread...it's just irritating that all of the nice looking bumpers are only produced
for the Wrangler. If you guys could come out with a great-looking modular XJ bumper (that was still reasonably
priced) you would steal the market away from the few XJ bumper makers out there in a heartbeat.

Any pictures up close of the stock sway bar location after the bumper is installed? Is it actually over the top of the bumper? Also for some reason there are caps on the end of the tube where an after market sway bar would go and the bolts seam to be welded on. the bumper wont fit on with the end caps i got.... im kinda stuck. Any suggestions?

Thank you for the question...

Here is a link to our online instructions... go to page 12 and you can see a couple pics depicting the placement of the stock sway bar.

Jeep CJ/YJ/TJ/LJ Frame-Built Bumper Installation Instructions

As for the bolt on the end tube, I would just cut it off.

You could always trade in the Stubby caps you have for the 43" Crawler Caps. Then you wouldn't need to cut off the bolt.

The beauty of our system is the ability to change or upgrade your bumper build.

Hi,

This may have been discussed but does this fairlead cause any extra issues with rub/chafe with synthetic line compared with a hawse?

I think it's slick but is it tested and proven?

Nope, it's pretty nice. The only way I could see there being an issue is if the jeep's nose is at an extreme angle, and the winchline is pointed down. I've not run across a situation yet where it's an issue.

Definitely proven! Hundreds of users and hundreds of recoveries later, the fairlead and the overall Frame Built bumper system has met the test of the trails.
