Tail gate reshaping

Hello all, I'm just wondering if anyone has experience in re-shaping/straightening a '92 YJ tail gate. My e-brake let go (I stupidly left it in neutral), it rolled backwards into a tree and I was left with a new "swallow tail" jeep design. It seems a shame to replace the entire gate, it was previously in mint condition and now is only bent about 10 degrees near one of the spare tire mounts (the tire hit the tree), but it won't quite close properly.

I don't know how bad it is, but does it close?
