tail gate drop down

here are some pictures. its made by swag offroad. great product. i love it. sturdy and pretty eary to install!









01 TJ. 35 inch KM2's. 4.5 RE. 2 inch body lift. dana 44. Detroit Locker. Olive Drab!! all set for trout and bambi!

Looks awesome! Quick question though.

What is the pin mechanism in the upper right hand corner of the tailgate? Does the conversion not use the stock latching tailgate latch or what is that parts function?

the latch on the stock tailgate only closes on the drivers side, the hinge is what keeps the passenger side closed. without the side hinge, you need another latch to keep it sealed.

yes. it closes the passenger side door. the stock latch stays there so that it can still lock

After I get some sort of swing away spare tire carrier to get the spare off my tailgate, this is next on my list. Too cool. Thanks for the close-up pictures.

i think its like 150 from Swagoffroad. the vendor is under the vendors secton of the forum
