Superwinch Talon 9.5i SR, Ramsey Patriot 8000, Bulldog 10000i?

Was looking at getting one of these 3 winches, heavily leaning towards the superwinch( like 99%) for the warranty, and it having synthetic line, I can't find anything on the search like reviews of people who have them let alone of pictures of them on a TJ, it does pull up member profiles an they have them under they're recovery upgrades, so if one of y'all could chime in id ( and I'm sure other would to) appreciate it in. Can't even find anything on google about them damn Superwinch

Between those, I'd go for the U.S. made Ramsey... the others you list are all made in China. Any reason Warn isn't in that mix? Warn is a better winch than any of them and you can get an M8000 at a good price if price is a big issue. You can add synthetic later when the wire rope goes bad... and it will.

I prefer the integrated solenoid, and for less than an Xd9000I I could get a ramsey, bulldog or superwinch with synthetic for cheaper. Line speeds are faster on the superwinch and lower amp draw and better warranty than the warns of same size, weighs less( doesn't make front end sag as much) cause it'd have synthetic not wire. And I had a friend in high school who's EPi 9000 on his XJ pulled one of our buddys jeeps out of a mudhole that the Warn XD9000I another buddy had on his YJ couldn't get him out and neither could a champion winch ( but who expects much out of a champion ha)

If anyone can find the Superwinch Talon 9.5I SR for cheaper than 844 shipped THAT would be great of you to post up

It's 1.6 a foot faster under a load but 24' slower with no load. It's great with long recoveries.

Yeah but how often are you pulling something/ someone who's stuck that weighs 0 lbs, imo the no load line speed isn't as important as full load line speed

I've had a Ramsey for about 5 years with no problems, going to need to change out the wire cable soon.

I'd rank the order of importance as follows...
1) Reliability
2) Line speed.

I'll take reliability over line speed any day. Not that line speed can't be important in some winching situations.

Never, my point was just numbers, not which is more important.
The important thing is your happy with whatever winch you have.
