midnight_f150, I have the Superwinch EPi9000 and it has never let me down . I used it many times, mainly to pull other people out and it has never let me down or hinted an issue or failure.

I've had my Superwinch winch for roughly 4 years now .

Thanks IslandTJ for the info. I like the looks of the SW thinking about buying one. Either a lp8500 or a EPi9000.

Superwinch is phasing out the EP series and replacing with the Talon line, so you may be able to get a great deal on an EP . In any case, both are pretty reliable, I haven't come across any negative reviews.
