A friend of mine bought one a few years back new from Quadratec. The fit was so crappy he sent it back. Such was the case for lots of Steelhorse products. So many complaints were going around about them that they eventually went out of business. I have the feeling they are still around just under another name. I would give it a pass and look for a true OEM hardtop. We see them all the time up here in the Seattle area starting at around $400. Even saw one in the paper, it was listed as a "jeep canopy" Person didn't know what it was and was selling it for $150.

Yep Steelhorse would be strictly a last resort, I'd pass on it. Most of their stuff was pretty near being nothing more than junky very poor quality stuff.

thanks guys, i actually just bought one from a 93 this morn for $200. in great shape except for scratches on top. wiper works and everything. now if my jeep didn't come with a hardtop how do i wire it for a rear wiper, where do i get the switches and crap? the top has a big plug built into it and a hose thingy for the washer.
