Nothing is different other than the wheelbase and total length, you will find the info you need in my sig in the TJ specs.

The LJ's came stock with a rear dana 44, other than the wheelbase and interior room, thats it. Get an LJ you will not be dissapointed.

It's either that or a jk but I really don't want the 4door but I want more room than my tj

LJ's also have rear disc brakes, limited slip, 3.73 gearing, and a transmission skid stock.

Forgot about that...

Between the LJ and the Jk, I have both and they are nice in there own way. The room in the JK is great. However is it big, and very different from the LJ. My LJ is half-cabbed so its a little different but I still love the space. Its really want you want. I didn't like the JK's at first, but after owning one it has grown on me.....

Definitely go with the LJ - the longer wheelbase alone is worth it for the improved road handling but it's not so much longer that it will affect off-road performance much (if at all).

The LJ has a rear dana 44 with disk brakes and a limited slip diff. All the extra length is behind the back seat so
I re drilled my seat brackets for the back seat and gave my passengers 4'' more of leg room so no more *****ing about having to sit in the back seat. I had a 98 TJ before mt lj and I think the Lj is better. The only downsides to the LJ are they Dont have the insane turning radius as a TJ, Skid plate drags on more stuff due to the longer wheel base but you can raise the skid and lift it without having to do a SYE since the drive shaft is twice the length of the Tj Finally my biggest issue with my LJ is how long the sides of the top are, they look kinda weird but that also makes it unique, I plan on getting a trek top NX which looks amazing on ljs since the roll cage has a slant giving it the fast back look.

So Get the Freakin LJ and you will love it!!

Here is a couple of pics to get you in the mood.
