I think I'm gonna have to pull the trigger on this sooner rather than later.

No one's dealt with SPORTZTRAILERS on ebay before?

first, calling someone mentally "retarted" is pretty retarded itself. But then to criticize their spelling!

I have nothing to complain about yet, I would much rather have the little sticker backwards dilema than something else.

"ONLY GRADE 5"??? If you didn't know, Grade 5 is more than strong enough for a Jeep size winch. Warn, SuperWinch, Ramsey, MileMarker hydraulic, etc. winches all ship with Grade 5 hardware... not a Grade 8 bolt in the box.

Ordered a bumper from them a couple weeks back. They were 30 bucks cheaper than anyone else and I got my part in five days.

i have the HighRock 4x4 front bumper would i still have to buy a mounting plate for this bumper? also have any of yall heard anything about the new XRC-10? or is that really overkill for a winch on a jeep

I'm not sure about your bumper, but a 10K winch is a little on the high side. I do not believe it is overkill. I run a 9.5K winch. A 12k or 15k winch is overkill for a Jeep. With a 9-10K winch it's always nice to have that extra margin of power.

This is my VERY FIRST post here! I recently got off the various stump jumpers I had, and got an honest to goodness Jeep.

I read this thread cover to cover, and at a 4 Wheel Parts.com expo that was held here in Western WA this weekend, I plunked down for one of these. It was $299+tax, and they threw in a bunch of little nick nacks, like a tow strap and velcro-on hand grips.
But I had to carry the thing out myself, through the entire expo center, and to the back of a 16 acre parking lot.

Is 8,000lbs what the thing is rated at, or what it weighs? My arms were just DEAD!
