I'm looking to buy a Smittybilt SRC bumper from quadratec and was wondering if anyone has used one or knows anyone who has used one and can tell me how durable they are?

This probably doesn't help much but in September I ordered a Smittybuild SRC bumper with D-rings from a different company and it arrived without D-rings or the mounts so I returned it and I'm waiting on the refund.... The bumper itself looked fairly sturdy but I never mounted it or tested it.

A couple weeks ago I ordered a bumper from a fellow jeepforum member and am awaiting a mid-dec delivery. The pics he sent, build specs and feedback from other members who have his bumpers looks impressive. Send a PM to BESRK for info.

I'm not a fan of the SRC stuff. Way to heavy. Their regular, classic rock crawler bumpers are ok. Don't buy their tire carrier; you'll hate it--ask me how I know...

edit: the Crown Automotive bumpers and tire carriers are prob the best bang for the buck. Exact copies of Warn
