both are 300 bucks. which one would you suggest?

If you're on a budget, save a little longer so you can go for the Warn M8000 which can be found for just over $500 all over the place. When you're stuck and it may mean you aren't gonna make it home that day, are you willing to chance a cheap winch imported from China?

Just bought the Smittybuilt from 4wd, came with lifetime warranty. I'll let you know how it works when it gets here

Jp magazine rated them very well. I am not going to argue with you guys though. I am only planning on using it once and awhile. If I was going to be using it alot, I probably would have bought something like an 8274
